Professor Laura J. Shepherd
Laura J. Shepherd is an ARC Future Fellow and Professor of International Relations at the University of Sydney, Australia. She is Co-Director of the Methodological Innovation stream within the UKRI GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub. Her research focuses on the politics of the Women, Peace and Security agenda, particularly its diffusion through governance institutions and its interaction with other national and international policy systems. On the Hub, Laura is pursuing three projects: two related to innovative methodologies and research design; and one investigating the impact of donor funding imperatives on the implementation of the WPS agenda.
