Julia Xavier Stier
Julia Xavier Stier is a human rights practitioner with expertise in migrant and refugee work, human trafficking, and gender rights. Julia is the Central Support Officer for the Gender, Justice and Security Hub and forms part of the core operational Hub team based at LSE. Julia’s previous experience includes providing critical frontline support to survivors of modern slavery and legal casework working with detainees in detention centres and prisons. Julia has an interdisciplinary approach and background, holding an MPhil in Comparative Literatures and Cultures from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Modern Languages from Durham University.
