Gnei Soraya Zarook
Gnei Soraya Zarook is an assistant professor in the English Department at Old Dominion University. Her research thinks about the limits and potentials of literature to ethically engage questions of trauma, justice, and memory. She is invested in how the literary, the ‘real,’ and the clinical intersect to muddy our understanding of what forms of knowledge and practice are accepted and privileged in responding ethically to violence. She is also a member of Radio Intifada, also known as the SWANA (South Asia, West Asia, and North Africa) Region Radio collective.
