Dr Socorro L. Reyes

Socorro Reyes is Regional Governance Adviser of the Center for Legislative Development focusing on Gender and Public Policy. Her research focuses on gender and the electoral system; gender and federalism; misogyny in authoritarian regimes; and gender and governance reform in transition governments. She is presently involved in a research for a deeper understanding of how governance reforms in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) affect women’s participation and rights.
