Sidar Güney is member of Legal Aid for the Victims of Rape and Sexual Harassment in Custody, Turkey. Her practices focus on various fields of human rights, LGBTI+ and women’s rights, especially sexual violence, torture, gender discrimination and equality, DDR (Disarmament, Demobilisation, Reintegration), ethnic identity and racism. Sidar is pursuing two projects: one on victims of torture funded by UN/VFVT and another on Syrian women asylum seekers and refugees funded by Olof Palme International Centre
