Shivangi Seth is a Research Officer with the GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub. Her current research focuses on hybrid justice mechanisms, funding of transitional justice (TJ), and the gendered impacts of TJ. She is particularly interested in examining whether TJ measures that are implemented reflect the aspirations and needs of victims of mass atrocities or are they driven by the political motivations of international donors, domestic political leaders, and local civil society. Shivangi holds a Master of International Law and Diplomacy from the Australian National University. Prior to joining the Hub, Shivangi worked at various think tanks including the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies New Delhi, and Carnegie India.
