Loraine is an Associate Professor of Social Science at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), based in the Department of Global Health and Development. Within the hub, the cross-cutting methodological innovation stream aims to create innovative research methodologies for the peace and security sectors, that improve the conceptualisation and measurement of violence, gender, inequality and health in conflict-affected settings. It also seeks to improve the research capacity of local researchers working in this field. At LSHTM, Loraine co-directs an NIHR Global Health Group on Health System Reponses to Violence Against Women.
