Dr Zahra Hussain

Research Fellow, Transformation and Empowerment

Zahra Hussain is an Architect and Cultural Geographer based in London. Her research focuses on cultural landscapes, architecture and developmental challenges particularly in mountain communities of Northern Pakistan. She leads the Laajverd Visiting School Program that employs cutting-edge interdisciplinary and devise creative mapping strategies for analysing multi-faceted challenges in regional landscapes, mediation between state and non-state actors and advocacy through audio-visual aid, particularly exhibitions, community-based museums and creative publications.
