Dr Mazeda Hossain

Mazeda Hossain is an Associate Professorial Research Fellow with the LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security and a co-Director of the GCRF Gender, Justice and Security Hub for the Methodological Innovations stream. She is a social epidemiologist focussing on violence and health among conflict-affected populations. Her research interests include developing epidemiological methods and measurements appropriate for conflict-affected populations and evaluating interventions to improve health care responses for violence survivors. On the Hub she is leading a project to develop a new global index for violence and health and a project exploring methodologies to improve measurements for violence and health.
