Yakjah Reconciliation and Development Network

Ashima Kaul is an independent journalist, peacebuilder and social strategist. She is a trained mediator and advocate for WPS. She founded the Yakjah Reconciliation and Development Network. Ashima was awarded 100 Women Achievers from Government of India and ‘Women’s Peacemaker Program’ Fellowship 2014 by Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice, University of San Diego, US. She participated in an inaugural cohort of women writers for a women’s writing residency ‘Women Authoring Change’ in Whidbey Island, Washington State, USA. Ashima is a member of ICAN and is India Correspondent for Peace Insights, a web portal by Peace Direct, UK.
